Location: Camp base is the YHC baseball stadium. Campers will use other facilities at YHC during their camp day.
Cross-Training for Christ is a sports based, non-denominational Christian Camp emphasizing Christ-like standards throughout all activities, daily. The basis for all teachings is the Holy Bible, God's word.
Campers choose from one of three sports in the morning and one of three sports in the afternoon for a total of 2 sports segments/day. Sport choices include Basketball, Tennis, Baseball, Softball, Golf and Soccer. Some days swimming is an option depending ... but is not a "sport" choice. If swimming is a part of the day it is a fun segment not a sport instructional segment.
Daily activities include Worship through music, small group bible activities led by entire staff, large group silly games, devotional time led by the camp Spiritual Leader, guest speakers and just a whole bunch of fellowship and fun!
Facilitators of this camp are Rick and Luann Robinson. Rick is the Head Baseball Coach at Young Harris College. Both Rick and Luann are activly involved in their local church activities in leadership roles.
This camp was developed 5 years ago as an answer to a call received by the Robinson's from God to use their gifts for His Glory. This will be the 5th Anniversary year of Cross-Training for Christ.

What to Bring?
A change of clothes, including socks, in case of rain / A bible (if you have one) IN A ZIP LOCK BAG, again, in case of rain / The gear you need for the sports you choose (if you do not have all the gear for the sports you want to try we have extra that you can use) / Lunch or money to purchase lunch from the concession stand

Total Immersion style of Leadership Training. Campers will mentor from 8:30 - 4:00 with high expectations for them to come out of their comfort zone to Glorify the Lord!
Their evening segment continues from 4:00-7:00 and includes fellowship activities including a group dinner, guest speakers, bible searching and evening evaluations.
