Baseball Instructional Showcase Camps are prospect camps that bring potential college players together with college coaches from around the Southeast.  Our Camps are phenomenal opportunites for a player to receive quality instruction from one of our many college coaches in attendance (scroll down to view list of coaches from previous years).  The player will also have the opportunity to apply those skills in a competitive game.

2012 Showcase Camp Dates will be posted late Winter and registration will open at that time.

Registration open to high school players (Freshman thru Senior)

Young Harris College's Head Baseball Coach, Rick Robinson, invites you to join his staff of college coaches from around the Eastern United States for a weekend of college level instruction that will help in preparing you to determine where you fit in at the next level.

How OUR prospect camp focuses on the Player

The format of the Baseball Instructional Showcase Camp is designed with the player in mind. On Saturday the players will be coached and then demonstrate their skills in a professional style workout. The camp will provide instruction in all areas of baseball mechanics and game situations. Coaches from all levels of play (Div. I, II, III, NAIA, Junior College and Professional) will be on the field coaching and observing players.

Players who play a field position as their primary position and pitch as their secondary position will have the opportunity to receive instruction in the bull pen on Saturday.

All players will also play in one game. This gives coaches an opportunity to further observe and instruct each player in live playing situations.  This allows the college coaches to determine how each player compares to their college players on their college campus.

Saturday and Sunday schedules will be available at check in for players and parents.

Players who are Pitch Only players can throw in the bull pen on Saturday if desired. However, the pitching slots for games have been reserved specifically for the pitch only players.  There is also pitching instruction all day Saturday and a pitching arm care segment for all pitchers, both primary and secondary,  and their parents on the schedule for Saturday evening, just prior to the Recruting Forum.  Specific time on schedule received at check in.

Baseball Instructional Showcase Camps  have been well attended for the past 11 years by oraganizations of all levels: Division I, Division II, Division III, Junior College, NAIA and Professional.  Each year many organizations attend both showcases while others attend one or the other depending upon their Fall schedule. Scroll down for this & past year's attendance lists.

PLEASE NOTE: If you are planning to attend one of our showcase camps and want to know if a specific program will be instructing it is best to call their baseball office and ask them directly.

Parent & Coach Comments

Below you will read a few (of many) comments from parents and coaches that have attended Baseball Instructional Showcase Camps.

Father of a Showcase Camp Participant, 2010:

I would like to thank you for having such a wonderful showcase, it was definitely worth the money. The showcase at Young Harris College is the most organized and well structured showcase I have ever attended. I have recommended your showcase to several parents and I am sure you won’t let them down.

Coach in Attendance, 2010

Thought the camp went very good and appreciate all your planning.

Mother of Showcase Camp Participant, 2009:

I wanted to write you and tell you this showcase was by far the best showcase we have attended. We received more information in the first 10 minutes than at any of the others. I know you were key to the organization and wanted to tell you how great it was. My son is only 15 but he has a much greater
understanding of what it will take to make it to the next level. We will
definitely be back again next year and have recommended your
Showcase Camp to many other families.

Participant and Family, 2009:

Our family would like to thank you for a great, organized showcase. We have been to many showcases this year in Tennessee and this was the BEST ran. And off course, the Sat. night recruit forum was the best info I've got from anywhere and anybody.

Father of Showcase Camp Participant, 2008:

I wanted to take a moment to say Thank You for the weekend! It was well run, very organized, and very well attended. As a parent that means more to me than most anything else. Please tell you staff Thank You.

Mother of Showcase Camp Participant, 2007 :

"I just wanted to say we attended this past weekend's showcase and had the time of our lives. It was VERY informative and a real eye opener for my son. Everything from the music being played in the background to the way everything ran was a wonderful experience.  I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed it. Please give a big thanks to everyone that was involved."

High School Coach, 2007:

"Thanks for a job well done this weekend! Your showcase was the best run event that I have attended in my 19 years of High School Baseball."

Father of Showcase Camp Participant, 2006:

"You probably remember my son and myself from last years showcase that we attended. Thanks to your showcase and my son's ability he was recruited by some of the attending coaches and now he plays at Maryville College as a freshman playing short stop. This coming Oct. 6-7, 5 players from of Miami area that I spoke to their parents are attending. I told them that the best showcase to attend was yours & that I am very pleased with the results. Thank you again, God Bless.  P.S.: I'll keep referring players to Young Harris."

Mother of Showcase Camp Participant, 2005:

"First of all I wanted to let you know that my son, his father and I all enjoyed our time at Young Harris this weekend. As always, the showcase was well organized and well run. Thank you, and please convey to Coach Robinson our thanks for providing an opportunity like this for these young men to display their skills."

Mother of Showcase Camp Participant, 2004:

"Hi, my son attended your showcase this past weekend. I just wanted you to know how impressed we were on how your organization conducted themselves. With going to other showcases it gives you such an understanding of what an excellent job you did. Thanks for such a positive weekend!
